Ookla has launched a map of existing 5G networks in the world. The company’s website gathers all available fifth-generation networks and detailed information about them.
Ookla employees collect on the map both commercialized 5G networks and those operating in a limited mode. In addition, the map has the opportunity to find out in which countries and cities in the near future they are preparing to launch a 5G network.
According to the map, more than 8700 commercial 5G networks from 123 operators are currently launched in the world. Most 5G networks are located in the USA, Japan, China, South Korea and Western Europe. The smallest distribution of 5G in Russia, Indonesia, South America and Africa.
