An application for registration has already been filed with the US Patent Office.
The Cupertinians filed for Slofie with the US Patent Office. Given that the term was coined by Apple, it is reasonable that the company wants to get rights to it and secure the possibility of exclusive use of the technology. Thus, in the future, "slowfoot" will be associated exclusively with iPhones and more.
Recall that the 12-megapixel front cameras of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro can shoot short videos in slow motion (at a speed of 120 frames per second). These small animated selfies at Apple were called “slowy” – derived from slo-mo and selfie.
Initially, it might seem that this was just a joke, but subsequently the word flashed in advertising materials and on various sites. Now the seriousness of their intentions, the Cupertinians will reinforce with a patent.
Given the hype around the "slowfoot", it is likely that they will turn out to be very popular in the near future and will flood Instagram and other social networks.
Simultaneous shooting with multiple cameras will be available on the iPhone XR and XS Apple makes the maximum bet on the camera
