It is available to everyone.
The Beeline operator has launched a 5G test zone in St. Petersburg. Within a month, everyone will be able to test the work of fifth generation mobile networks in the urban space "SevKabel Port".
The 5G pilot zone was launched by Beeline together with Qualcomm and Nokia. The network is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 modem system and Nokia commercial equipment, which includes a system module, 5G router and 5G AirScale active antenna systems.
For testing, Beeline received a temporary permission to use frequencies in the millimeter range (26-28 GHz). This range is actively used by the world's leading operators to launch public 5G networks.
The 5G zone of Beeline Gaming will work for a month. Visitors to the zone will be able to access the fifth generation networks from various devices, including those provided by the operator. A separate 5G VR Gaming stand has also been launched in the zone, where visitors have the opportunity to try out 5G in virtual reality.
