20 watts, but buy separately.
Apple will release a new proprietary charger alongside the launch of the iPhone 12 range of smartphones. Safety Korea sources said the company is preparing to launch a 20W charger.
The new charging adapter, listed in the 3C database under model number A2244, will feature a USB-C connector. The device will be sold separately from Apple smartphones. It will be priced at around $ 30, similar to the 18-watt charging adapter that Apple currently sells.
Apple's current 5W and 18W charging adapters will disappear from official sale after the launch of the 20W model. In addition, Apple will no longer bundle other iPhone models with discontinued chargers.
Earlier, Apple itself directly hinted at plans to reduce the configuration of the iPhone. The company conducted a survey among iPhone users, asking them how they deal with charging adapters from old smartphones. The poll was conducted amid numerous rumors that smartphones from the iPhone 12 lineup will not come with a charging adapter and wired headphones.
