In iPhone SE, the Haptic Touch function does not work on the lock screen and in the Notification Center, but “it should be so”

It turned out that in the new smartphone iPhone SE there is a curious feature. Unlike any other modern iPhone, users cannot interact with notifications in the usual way by long pressing on the display using the Haptic Touch function.
Usually, with a long press on the display, the Haptic Touch function is activated, which allows you to call up various options for interacting with any element. But in the case of the new iPhone SE, a long press on notifications on the lock screen or in the Notification Center does not lead to a menu with options for available actions. Although with a long press on the main screen, the function works properly. And even working with notifications displayed at the top of the screen on an unlocked device also works in the usual mode.
As it turned out, such a selective work of Haptic Touch is “this is not a bug, but a feature”. According to Matthew Panzarino from TechCrunch, in this case, "everything works as intended." Thus, Apple decided to differentiate different models of iPhone smartphones and limit in terms of available functions of users to a more affordable version of iPhone SE.
