The release is just around the corner.
On July 16th, the 7th beta version of iOS 12.4 was released in the evening. And both for developers and the public version – everyone who has an iPhone who supports iOS 12.4 can install it.
iOS 12.4 beta 7 does not contain new functionality, but it has become noticeably more stable. Apple developers have eliminated all the flaws of the previous beta. Most likely, after this 7th beta, you can soon expect the official release of iOS 12.4.
Which iPhone supports iOS 12.4
iPhone XS Max iPhone XS iPhone X iPhone X iPhone 8 Plus iPhone 8 iPhone SE iPhone 7 Plus iPhone 7 iPhone 6s Plus iPhone 6s iPhone 6 Plus iPhone 6 iPhone 5s
Owners of iPhone 6s and above will be much more interesting to test the beta version of iOS 13 firmware. There is the 2nd public beta version of iOS 13 for all comers or the 3rd beta of iOS 13 for developers.
How to install iOS 12.4 beta 7
Those who have previous iOS 6.4 beta beta or public beta on iPhones can upgrade to fresh beta “through the air” via Wi-Fi, checking for updates on iPhone in Settings> General> Software Updates.
If you have not previously installed the beta version of iOS 12.4 for developers, you can use the instructions for the first beta, all without change.
Those who want to install a public beta, which is available to all owners of iPhones (no need to be a registered developer in the Apple Developer Program) can use this instruction.
