Dry victory.

Among iPhone users, there is a widespread belief that iOS 10 is superior to newer firmware in terms of speed. Comparison of the “live” performance of iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 13.1.1 showed that there is no point in staying on the “top ten”. iOS 13 simply defeated iOS 10.

Upgrade from iOS 10 to iOS 13 or not

A comparison of the real speed of iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 13.1.1 was made by the YouTube blogger iAppleBytes. He ran the same tasks on two iPhones running different firmware. An enthusiast tested the launch speed of standard and third-party applications, as well as some iOS features.

Testing has demonstrated that iOS 13.1.1 is significantly superior to iOS 10.3.3 in performance. An iPhone running iOS 13 handled the launch of most applications much faster. The biggest difference is noticeable when opening standard applications that Apple has optimized perfectly. But third-party applications from the App Store most often opened faster on iOS 13.

Synthetic tests have confirmed that iOS 13 is faster firmware. In the Geekbench benchmark 4, the firmware scored similar results, but in AnTuTu iOS 13 – 28,500 points went ahead against 25,788 in iOS 10.3.3.

Thus, users remaining on iOS 10.3.3 should consider upgrading to iOS 13. The update will not only bring a huge number of innovations that appeared in iOS 11, iOS 12 and iOS 13, but also decently accelerate the iPhone.

Earlier, Apple released iOS 13.1.2 – the next technical update for iOS 13.
