Complete redesign!
The next generation iPad Air will boast a host of innovations. The bezels on the sides of the screen will be noticeably smaller, the tablet will be equipped with a USB Type-C port, and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor will be at the top.
Such conclusions can be made based on the pictures of the user manual, which were posted on the Internet by a Twitter user under the nickname DuanRi.

Judging by the photo, the iPad Air 4 fingerprint scanner is built into the power button and is located on the top edge of the case.
The modern USB Type-C port will finally replace the ancient Lightning.
Outwardly, the novelty resembles the iPad Pro, but the edges are not so sharp here. Thinner bezels allow you to expect a slight increase in screen diagonal.
Finally, the picture shows the smart connector. It can be used, for example, to connect a proprietary Apple keyboard.
As a reminder, the latest version of the iPad Air was unveiled in March 2019. The tablet retains the design of the iPad Air 2, but has a more powerful A12 Bionic chipset, a 10.5-inch Retina display and support for Apple Pencil.
