Tomorrow, June 22, Apple will introduce iOS 14 – the new operating system for the iPhone. According to a fresh leak, iOS 14, which can change its name quite unexpectedly, will be released for all iPhones with iOS 13 support, including iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which are still popular all over the world.
The fact that Apple will retain full support for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus indicated a special XML file published on the Apple website. He was first discovered by a Twitter user under the nickname @Jioriku.
The XML file contains iOS 14 support on all iPhone models that have iOS 13 support. This means that no iPhone model will be written off as inactive after iOS 14.
Thus, Apple will extend support for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for the sixth year. Such generosity for Apple will not be the first time. Earlier, the company similarly extended support for the iPhone 5s for the sixth year, although the usual iPhone support period is five years.
