IPhone's 120-Hz screen runs the risk of being delayed for a year

There are supply problems.
New Apple smartphones from the iPhone 12 lineup will be left without super-smooth 120-Hertz displays. According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Apple simply will not be able to get the necessary Samsung LPTO display panels this year.
According to Young sources, in 2020 Samsung will be able to supply LPTO display panels only for the Galaxy Note 20+ smartphone. This will happen due to production restrictions introduced against the backdrop of a complicated epidemiological situation.
Given that it is LPTO panels that provide a variable screen refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, Apple will not be able to release an iPhone with an increased display refresh rate this year.
Apple plans to equip the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max with screens with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz were previously reported by authoritative insider Max Weinbach. He did not specify who will be the supplier of displays for the new Apple smartphones.
Recall that last year, Weinbach was one of the first to reveal details about the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. All leaks published by the expert turned out to be reliable, in connection with which the insider strengthened his reputation.
