Ming Chi Kuo: Apple is preparing new iPad tablets and iPad mini with larger displays

Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has prepared his new forecast for upcoming Apple mobile device updates. According to him, the company from Cupertino plans to release a new 10.8-inch iPad and a new iPad mini with a display that can reach 9 inches. The note also mentions the potential release date for Apple's added reality headset.
Judging by the available information, the new 10.8-inch iPad will be released in the second half of this year, and the new iPad mini with a screen size of 8.5 to 9 inches will appear in the first half of 2021. At the same time, both models will have relatively affordable prices.
It is not yet clear how exactly these new tablets can fit into the existing Apple iPad line – they will complement and expand it, or will replace existing models. Currently, the most affordable iPad for $ 329 has a 10.2-inch display, and the iPad Air for $ 499 has a 10.5-inch display. This means that the 10.8-inch iPad will have a larger screen than both models. And the iPad mini with a 9-inch display will be a big improvement over the 7.9-inch screen of the current iPad mini.
Additionally, Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple's augmented reality headset could only appear in 2022. Previous leaks claimed that Apple was working on two such devices. At the same time, the augmented reality headset will enter the market in 2022, and a year later augmented reality glasses will appear.
