IClarified specialists have compared the turn-on times of different iPhone models. It turned out that the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max turn on half as fast as the iPhone X. The significantly more powerful processor and increased RAM did not allow Apple's flagships to get ahead of the "anniversary" model.
The experiment involved smartphones iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Each model has been updated to the iOS 13.1.3 operating system and reset to factory settings. Also on smartphones, the Face ID function, Siri voice assistant were disabled and the iCloud account was not logged in.
Testing showed that the iPhone X is the fastest to turn on. It took just 9.8 seconds to boot from the smartphone. After it, last year's iPhone models turned on one by one. The iPhone XR is 16.36 s, the iPhone XS Max is 16.5 s, the iPhone XS is 16.5 s. The latest Apple smartphones have been on for the longest time. The iPhone 11 Pro – 19.36 s, iPhone 11 Pro Max – 19.56 s, iPhone 11 – 19.7 s.
What is the reason for the delay in the inclusion of new iPhone models is unknown. Smartphones are equipped with the world's most powerful mobile processor A13 Bionic and 4 GB of RAM. It is assumed that the slow download speed is caused by some operations that did not occur on previous generations of iPhone.
Earlier we showed how cool it takes off the less expensive iPhone 11 in night mode.
