Music service Spotify launched in Russia. The Spotify app has become available for Russian iPhones and Android smartphones – you can register in it and start listening to music fully, including by paying for a Premium subscription.
The Spotify app became available to Russian users a day before the official launch, which became known earlier. Spotify representatives have not yet officially confirmed the launch, in connection with which the premature appearance of the possibility of using the service is associated with the technical "smooth" launch of the service.
Nevertheless, it is already possible to use Spotify in Russia. To do this, you need to download the Spotify app and go through a simple registration process. Note that the Spotify app has been added to the App Store and Google Play, but it does not appear at the top of the search results yet. To find it, you need to scroll through the list.
You can listen to Spotify in Russia for free, but with restrictions – ad inserts and without the ability to download music for offline listening. There is also the option of purchasing a Premium Spotify subscription. The cost of a regular subscription is 169 rubles per month. A family subscription for six people is estimated at 269 rubles per month, a subscription for two people – at 219 rubles per month, a student subscription – at 84 rubles per month. At the moment, payment for a subscription is possible only on the Spotify website, which has also become available for Russian users.
All new Spotify users receive three months of free Premium subscription to the service.
