Steve Jobs Autographed Floppy Disc Selling At RR Auction

The auction house RR Auction put up for auction a diskette autographed by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. The cost of a 3.5-inch floppy disk, signed with a black pen, is estimated at a minimum of $ 7,500.
A floppy disk dated 1988 is a copy of the Macintosh System Tools Version 6.0, a set of system utilities for older Apple computers. By the time this note was written, twelve bets had been made on the lot, the highest being $ 8,000.
According to the organizers of the auction, the floppy disk has been preserved in good condition, but Jobs' signature has been erased a little – but there is a certificate of authenticity.
The circumstances in which the entrepreneur left his signature on the carrier, unfortunately, are not disclosed. At the same time, the description of the lot states that this rarity is valuable because the Apple co-founder did not like to give autographs and often refused this request to collectors.
Bidding will last until December 4.
